Christmas 2016

Samuel's first Christmas was so, so much fun. Last Christmas I was eight weeks pregnant and I remember dreaming about what it would be like the following year with a 4.5 month old. It has been better than I ever could have imagined, Samuel is truly such a blessing and I am so thankful that this was the first of a lifetime of Christmases we will get to spend with him. Our highlights included kicking off the season with a family horse-drawn carriage ride, going to the Christmas market and live nativity in Georgetown, wearing Samuel during Christmas Eve service while singing Silent Night (tears, all the tears), assembling 100+ gingerbread kits for my clients, doing Samuel's first crafts, having a ton of cozy family nights in front of the fireplaces and celebrating with family - especially Samuel's cousins who he is completely in love with.

Samuel, I hope you know what a treasure you are to us, on Christmas and every day of the year. You bring so much joy to our lives and your dad I are so incredibly in love with you little one!
